• Collect Photos You Love to Manifest Your Dream

These photos show I’ve always loved the sea, and it was where I was happiest. Now I’m taking photos most days of my own real sea view!

When you want to see your dream come true, think about how much it really means to you. When you collect memories through old photos, and recall how good you felt, you connect to the deepest feelings stored in your heart.

The Universe doesn’t respond to a whimsical passing wish, and it doesn’t need you to write your dream down 100 times. You don’t need the exact words to express your desire – the Universe knows the depth of your innermost feelings, and when your clear intention matches them – then it brings your dream to life.

As things turned out, the timing was perfect for me to sell my house, because the market had finally been restored after the crash of 2008, but if I’d wanted to move faster I would have had to stop being overwhelmed by all the problems that came with renovating it.

When I moved my focus away from the stress of those circumstances, and placed it on where I was going to find a new home – everything changed very quickly.

I now know that the Universe only wants the best for me, so I can trust it to manifest my dreams when the time is right. It knows me better than I know myself, and it definitely knows the bigger picture – so I let go of any pretense of control! My job is to remain patient, keep on releasing doubts and fears, and replace them with things I love.

Facebook recently showed me this image, and I was surprised that I’d posted it 3 years earlier – before I’d even considered the possibility of ever getting my house finished so I could move. I can remember connecting to this photo as a younger version of myself, and feeling the strong desire to live by the sea. I added it as my profile picture, so it was part of every day.

I especially love how Rumi describes love, and this quote is so accurate. When your heart knows what is true for you, and you love your dream with a passion, then you will be guided towards it.

Build your dream around photos and quotes – they brought mine to life, and kept me going every day. The smallest things, that have meaning for you, add up to make a big difference.

I’d kept old family photos without looking at them until I bought something that converted slides to a computer. Remembering our summer holidays on the beach – just a few miles from where I now live – felt good. These were the closest times I spent with my brother, and this photo must have been one of the last times I beat him, because he went on to run for his county!
